This community lot from Bette Buna in Guji is produced by smallholder farmers across the Megadu region. Farmers use traditional natural processing methods, drying cherries on raised beds to develop sweetness and complexity.

Bette Buna supports producers through ecological farming training, local processing support, and community initiatives focused on quality, sustainability, and long-term income. After drying, the coffee is milled, hand-sorted, and finished at Bette Buna’s mill near Addis Ababa before export.

Vida takes its name from the Costa Rican phrase Pura Vida — a way of life centred around simplicity, positivity, and enjoying the moment. Our take on that philosophy is this espresso blend, carefully sourced from coffees around the world to create a balanced and approachable cup.

Expect notes of orange, hazelnut, and caramel with a smooth, easy-drinking finish.

Vida is certified organic by the Soil Association, meaning every coffee is grown without synthetic pesticides, herbicides, or GMOs, supporting both sustainable farming and ethical sourcing.
