How to Get the Best from Your Home Fragrance
Our products are designed to be enjoyed slowly and thoughtfully. With the right care, you can get the most from your candles and diffusers — longer-lasting scent, an even burn, and a better overall experience.
CANDLE CARE
The First Burn Matters
The first time you light your candle is the most important.
Allow the wax to melt fully to the edges of the container. This helps prevent tunnelling and ensures an even burn for the life of your candle.
Trim Your Wick
Before each burn, trim the wick to around 5mm.
This helps to:
- Maintain a clean, steady flame
- Prevent smoking or soot
- Extend the life of your candle
Burn Time
For best results:
- Burn your candle for 2–4 hours at a time
- Avoid burning for longer periods, as this can affect performance
Keep the Wax Clean
Ensure your candle is free from:
- Wick trimmings
- Dust or debris
This helps your candle burn safely and evenly.
Candle Safety
- Never leave a burning candle unattended
- Keep away from children, pets, and drafts
- Always place on a heat-resistant surface
DIFFUSER CARE
Setting Up Your Diffuser
Insert the reeds into the bottle and allow them to absorb the fragrance oil. Flip them after a few hours to begin releasing scent.
Refreshing the Scent
To keep your diffuser performing well:
- Flip the reeds every few days
- Use fewer reeds for a lighter scent, or more for a stronger fragrance
How Long Does It Last?
Diffusers typically last 6-12months depending on:
- Room temperature
- Airflow
- Number of reeds used
When to Replace Reeds
Over time, reeds can become saturated and less effective.
Replace them when:
- The scent becomes weaker
- The reeds appear dry or clogged
