Part of the prayer plant family these plants get their name from their folding leaves at night and then uncurling in the morning for the days sun. These Velvet Calatheas get their name from the soft velvet touch leaves. 

They prefer avoiding direct sun,  too much sun will cause its colourful leaves to fade and become dull. For best results when watering, use filtered water.

Plenty of humidity and keeping the soil moist will keep your plant happy and healthy.  

These plants come with their ceramic glazed ombre pot in soft pink/cream.
